Gene Wyll, M.D.
Ophthalmologist, Surgeon and Contact Lens Specialist

Good vision is critical to a child's physical development, success in school, and overall well-being.  Dr. Wyll performs eye exams on children ages 5 and older to evaluate vision and overall eye health.

Early detection may allow for treatment to begin before the child experiences difficulty in school due to poor vision, or before any permanent damage to the eyes has occurred.

During the exam, he will check visual acuity, eye tracking, focusing ability and will detect such visual conditions as near and far-sightedness, astigmatism, amblyopia ("lazy eye") and crossed eyes.

A comprehensive eye exam is essential in the detection and treatment of vision problems and diseases.

Dr. Wyll has extensive experience in fitting children with contact lenses.  Switching your child from glasses to contacts can considerably enhance their ability to participate in and succeed at many types of sports activities.  Your child might just want a boost of self-confidence with contact lenses.

You are giving your child a great start to a lifetime of excellent vision by scheduling an eye exam.
